Xinyu obtained a master's degree in econometrics and statistics from the Institute of Financial Sciences and Insurance in 2021, following her mathematics bachelor's degree from the University of Aix-Marseille. She also participated in an exchange semester at the Department of Actuarial Science at Université Laval in Quebec.

During her education, she completed a data analysis internship at a bank and a risk modeling and analysis internship at a business process outsourcing company. With her passion for programming languages and knowledge of statistics, she assisted her colleagues with data optimization and statistical analysis.
