
Aviva Gillman
Aviva joined Modus Outcomes in 2020 and leads mixed-methods projects across a variety of disease areas. Aviva has extensive qualitative experience conducting comprehensive literature reviews, semi-structured interviews, and coding and analyzing data, as well as quantitative experience in both Classical Test Theory and Rasch Measurement Theory. Aviva’s research experience and project management skills ensure seamless project execution from start to finish.
Aviva received her MSc in Global Mental Health with Distinction at King’s College London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2019. Her thesis was a qualitative process evaluation on the acceptability of a psychosocial intervention for adolescent refugees in Lebanon. Aviva also holds a first-class degree (BSc Hons) in Psychology with Biology from the University of St Andrews. Prior to joining Modus, Aviva was on the research team for a digital mental health company. While there, she was responsible for developing and validating a digital outcome measure, leading focus groups with young people, and coordinating a Theory of Change project. She has an additional two years’ experience working for a leading neuroscience technology company specializing in cognitive assessment.
