Udani Sandanayaka

Research Scientist I

Udani is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she received her BS in Behavioral Neuroscience in 2018.

Udani has previous experience working as a Research Assistant at two Boston hospitals. At Boston Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry, she developed and implemented research protocols for clinical trials focusing on schizophrenia and cocaine addiction. In this role, Udani recruited and consented study participants, conducted and transcribed patient interviews, and performed qualitative data entry and analysis. She also conducted a quantitative retrospective chart review on opioid addiction treatment.

At Boston Children’s Hospital, Udani implemented research protocols and procedures in a study aimed to determine pre-neural markers of developmental dyslexia.

Udani has experience in both quantitative and qualitative data entry and analysis, literature reviews, and patient interviews.
