
Tracy Anastas
Tracy is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in behavioral medicine. She has over 10 years of health research experience conducting studies from initial conceptualization to execution and data collection, analyses, and dissemination. Her primary research focus has been to understand and address treatment disparities in chronic pain care. Her research portfolio also includes projects relevant to primary care, behavioral health services, clinician burnout, digital therapeutics, aging/dementia, and diabetes.
Clinically, she has provided evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals with mental health (e.g., depression, anxiety) and physical health conditions (e.g., chronic pain, multiple sclerosis) and has administered neuropsychological testing to people with cognitive issues related to dementia/Alzheimer’s, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. She joined Modus Outcomes in 2024 to lead patient-centered research.
She holds a BA from Cornell University, a PhD from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, and completed a research postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington.
