Teya is a recent graduate of Boston University where she received her BA in Neuroscience and studied on the pre-medicine track. During her time at Boston University, she worked as a research assistant in the Social Learning Lab, assisting with projects being conducted on cognitive development in children. While studying abroad in Geneva, Teya was a research intern at the International Centre of Migration, Health, and Development and conducted qualitative research on child migrants and unaccompanied minors.

Teya has experience in data collection, entry, and analysis as well as qualitative coding.
