Sarah Wilding
Sarah has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Leeds and a background in health-related research. Prior to joining Modus Outcomes in November 2022, she spent five years working in academic research as a postdoctoral researcher and project manager on a range of mixed methods projects, including investigating patient reported outcomes in men diagnosed with prostate cancer. She has experience in designing and delivering on a variety of research methods including interviews, online surveys and randomized controlled trials along with conducting PRISMA-compliant systematic research reviews and meta-analyses.
She has a keen interest in conducting high quality health-related research. In the past this has varied from research on aiming to understand and increase cancer screening behaviours and COVID-19 prevention, to work on mental health outcomes. Her mixed methods research experience and project management experience enable her to effectively manage and conduct research to a high quality. She has experience of conducting comprehensive desk research, qualitative research projects (including semi-structured interviews), and quantitative analyses including descriptive statistics along with more complex inferential statistics and interpretation of different types of statistical outputs. She has also co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications (over 30 to date with 900+ citations).
