Melody has a background in communications, project coordination, and administration in the public and private sectors. As a Client Relationship Manager at Modus, Melody focuses on developing and maintaining client relationships, assisting in business development activities, and leading the development of marketing materials.
Melody completed a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Sciences Po (Paris and Grenoble, France) as part of the interdisciplinary TransAtlantic Masters Program, focused on contemporary Europe and the transatlantic relationship. Melody conducted her thesis research on GMO regulatory differences between the US and EU. Melody also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba (Canada).
Melody gained experience in the public sector while working as a licensing clerk at the Consumer Protection Office/Manitoba Justice and in administration at the Corporate Information Branch/Manitoba Infrastructure. While completing her Master’s degree, Melody interned at UNESCO’s Division of Science Policy and Capacity-Building and at the International Chamber of Commerce’s Digital Economy Commission. During these internships, she assisted in developing communications materials and project implementation, and collaborated in policy and advocacy work. She has worked in the private sector in sales and business development.
