Courtney completed her MSc in Chemistry at Miami University, where she specialized in Chemistry Education Research.

During her time there, she worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, where she focused on qualitative research investigating undergraduate students’ understanding of representations depicting various chemistry concepts and phenomena. She has experience with experimental design, literature reviews, study material preparation, conducting semi-structured interviews, and qualitative data analysis.
