Debi Ellis, MSc, Junior Research Scientist
Debi completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Leeds, UK in 2013 and a Master’s degree in Health Psychology at University College London, UK in 2017. For her Masters thesis, Debi researched the socioeconomic inequalities in colorectal cancer screening. Debi has experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, including statistical analysis. She is due to enroll in a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University in 2018.
Before joining the Modus Outcomes team, Debi worked as a Research Assistant at Kings College London on a project investigating the effectiveness of motivational interviewing to reduce cardiovascular risk, supporting on data collection and analysis. She also completed a placement in the public sector for the Behavioural Insights team within Public Health England, where she conducted behavioural analyses, providing brief advice to healthcare professionals for smoking and alcohol reduction.
